Your vehicle may be fitted with a pretensioner seat belt.
This can be identified by contacting the original vehicle manufacturer or looking at the retractor where the seat belt winds back onto. If there is a gas cylinder attached to the retractor and/or wires that hook up to your airbag wiring circuit then this product is only available from the Original Vehicle Manufacturer.
There is no Aftermarket seat belt manufacturer in Australia currently making this belt for this particular position in your vehicle unless your vehicle was manufactured in Australia.
STILL DON’T THINK YOU HAVE A PRETENSIONER SEAT BELT INSTALLED?
Some early model vehicles have air bags fitted in the steering wheel and dash board but were not fitted with pretensioner seat belts. They were sometimes fitted with standard inertia reel retractors or webb clamping belts. If these two options were installed in your vehicle we will definitely be able to help you.
